Alissa Elk

Ali Elk fell in love with dance from a young age when she started her dance journey at The Dance Inn studying under Thelma Goldberg. In high school, she worked extensively with other instructors like Nailah Bellinger, where her passion and knowledge for dance continued to grow. She has participated in various disciplines including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Modern, Hip hop, Contemporary, and Pointe. She is a proud Legacy Dance Company alumni and thrilled to be back at The Dance Inn teaching! Ali graduated from Scripps College in 2021 with a B.A. in Media Studies and a minor in Asian American Studies. She loves having a creative outlet and since graduating, has started a small business where she designs, produces, and sells her art. Ali currently works full time in merchandise operations at TJX and loves that she can continue to share her love and passion for creativity, movement, art and community, through her family here at The Dance Inn.
