The Dance Inn Youth Intensive is for young dancers ages 9 to 13 interested in a more intensive program that offers more training and more performance opportunities beyond the annual recital. Dancers enter into the program by recommendations from their teachers after completion of TJB III and attend classes two to three times/week.

DIYI dancers are required to participate in a series of performances and special workshops throughout the school year. Additional performances include our Annual Holiday Show, Lexington's Discovery Day, the Lexington Patriot's Day Parade, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, and Festival of Colors in Lexington, among others. Many Youth Intensive dancers move onward to audition for the studio’s company, the Legacy Dance Company.
