Introducing dance to young children is an honor and a responsibility we assume with joy, enthusiasm, and professionalism. We respect each child’s individuality and strive to make their experiences with dance positive and fun! We offer various levels based on age. Each class is designed to meet the individual needs of its students while taking into account their emotional maturity, attention span, and developmental stage.
For students ages 9-13 interested in a more intensive program that offers more training and more performance opportunities beyond the annual recital, visit the Dance Inn Youth Intensive page for more information.
To participate in our preschool program, dancers should be toilet-trained.
These classes are open for students who will be age 5 and in Kindergarten in September (exceptions are made for dancers who have taken our 3 & 4 year old classes even if they are not entering Kindergarten).
The Adaptive Dance program shares the joy of dance to students ages 7-13 with special needs. We offer two levels based on age. Each class is designed to meet the individual needs of its students taking into account their emotional maturity, attention span, and developmental stage. The class offers instruction in tap, jazz, and creative movement and results in one (1) recital performance routine. The adaptive dance program builds skills in fostering independence, confidence, cooperation, increasing strength and coordination. The class allows a safe environment for kids to foster friendships, and gain self esteem.
